Please note: Mount Juliet Estate is currently undergoing a full renovation of all guest rooms. By the time of our wedding, every space will be refreshed and beautifully updated, combining the estate’s historic character with new, modern comfort.
All rooms have been blocked exclusively for our wedding guests. Reservations must be made through us, as you have already been assigned a specific room.
The Manor House sits at the heart of the estate, its roots tracing back to the mid-18th century. Its individually designed bedrooms exude timeless romance, each named for a historical figure connected to the estate. Many overlook the River Nore or the paddocks of Ballylinch Stud. The ongoing renovations are carefully restoring these rooms, blending heritage with contemporary elegance.

Fishing
Nestled within the rolling parklands of Thomastown in County Kilkenny, Mount Juliet Estate is graced by two rivers, the storied River Nore and its tributary, the King’s River, and features a dozen named pools ideal for salmon and wild brown trout fishing
Horseback-Riding
Rooted in centuries of equestrian tradition, horseback riding at Mount Juliet Estate offers a chance to experience the beauty of the estate as generations before once did. Riders journey through rolling meadows, ancient woodlands, and along the tranquil River Nore, discovering the grounds in a way that is both timeless and unforgettable.

Each morning begins with a full Irish breakfast, included with every stay. Guests can enjoy a generous spread of locally sourced ingredients, from fresh pastries and fruit to traditional Irish favorites. Breakfast is served in elegant dining rooms overlooking the estate, setting the tone for a day of celebration and adventure.

Guests have a range of dining choices available without leaving the estate, several of which are open for lunch:
The Hound – Located in Hunter’s Yard, serving modern Irish cuisine in a relaxed, stylish setting. Open for both lunch and dinner.
The Saddle Bar & Clubhouse – Ideal for a light lunch, casual dining, or drinks after a days of outdoor activities.
Afternoon Tea in the Manor House – A refined midday experience featuring delicate sandwiches, pastries, and desserts served in an elegant setting.
